Use the Number grid ITP - Zip file (462Kb) or a 1-100 grid to investigate and agree the rules of divisibility. Ask pupils to record the rules in their own way. Then ask pupils to list three numbers between 500 and 600 that are:
- divisible by 2;
- divisible by 4, etc.
Get pupils to check each other's work.
Repeat regularly at the starts or ends of lessons for numbers within a given range.
